With support from Alonsa Public School, and a grant from Prairie Mountain Health's Healthy Together Now funding program, ACD helped to complete a two tier project called A.A.C.R.E - Alonsa Agriculture Community Restorative Enterprise, a project which installed new green houses and raised garden beds in two locations within the community.
The Manitoba Government provides 75% of ACD's funding yearly.
In a joint project with Fisheries and Oceans Canada and Manitoba Fish and Wildlife Enhancement Fund, the ACD is in the process of completing a Walleye Spawning project along the Garrioch Creek, one of the most important order in council drains in the district.
